Women and premature ejaculation
The quickest way to combat premature ejaculation and erection problems is to approach them with a level head and take your time in finding a solution that works.
For you as a woman, there are several things you can do to help if your partner is experiencing sexual problems (premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation). It is all about making sure that you both are comfortable with yourselves and the problem.
Let’s take a look at the problems men can suffer from, and the advice that we can give you to ensure you successfully solve them together.
Lack of interest
Your partner doesn’t seem very interested in having sex.
This can certainly be a problem. There seems to be a common male assumption that needing to keep an erection for long time is somewhat of a ‘sexual duty’, which in turn leaves some men confused and frustrated when they cannot. Women should not take these difficulties to heart. Asking questions such as “what’s wrong?” and “don’t you fancy me?” can seriously impact upon a man’s confidence. Men are often sensitive creatures when it comes to sex, and occurrences like this will play over in their heads.
What would be more appropriate, is to wait until the right time to talk about sexual problems, rather than in the heat of the moment. Ensure that you’re both willing to talk about it, relaxed and calm and be tactful in your approach. Try to make your man feel secure and confident; it will be easier for him to explain his problems. It is important to initiate a real conversation, one from which you can both benefit, where you can both freely talk about problems you have in common. Talks such as this will only serve to strengthen your relationship, as well as iron out any doubts. Listen carefully to what he has to say, and make sure you ask if you have any doubts! Repeat what he tells you, just to make sure that you both understand!
What should I do?
- If there’s a physical problem, then calmly suggest that you visit a doctor or specialist in sexology. A doctor will be able to assess your lifestyle, health and any medication that may be helpful. Women should go with their men, in order to support them morally and emotionally.
- If the problem is emotional, problems may develop that involve feelings of losing their partner, stress at home and at work, confusion and anxiety amongst others. Talking things through can often be helpful, but the more deep-rooted problems need to be assessed by a psychologist. Women must always stay confident and help to keep things as stress free as possible. If your man is stressed, arrange a quiet getaway for the two of you. Encourage him to take some time out, relax and apply his spare time to more meaningful activities, such as personal exploration..
- Is your sex life as passionate as ever? Are you just bored? When was the last time you did something new and exciting? Do you both put the same amount of spark into the relationship? It is always a fantastic idea to do something different together, something that can benefit you both.
Remember, communication between you and your partner is the most important thing.
